Nokia N78

Previously called the 3GSM World Congress, the Mobile World Congress is the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile phone industry and it is held annually in Barcelona, Spain.  It should come as no surprise that the Nokia N78 multimedia 3G smartphone was introduced for the first time at the Mobile World Congress in February 2008.  Having received positive feedback at the Congress, the Nokia N78 was then launched on May 26, 2008

Measuring just 1.9 x 0.6 x 4.4 inches and weighing only 3.6 ounces the Nokia N78 is part of Nokia Nseries and comes in black, blue, white and purple colors.  The very small and lightweight candy-bar style Nokia N78 is fully equipped with the following hi-tech features:
240 x 320 pixels, 2.4 inch TFT Matrix display screen that supports 16 million colors.  Downloadable screen savers and wall paper are available.

  • A 3.2 megapixel camera, 2048 x 1536 pixels (JPEG/EXIF) Carl Zeiss optics as well as a CIF video call camera.
  • A 70 MB memory with an additional microSD (TransFlash) hot swap memory card.
  • Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB Pop Port, SMS, MMS and Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • A Symbian OS v9.3, S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2 operating system.
  • It is compatible with N-Gage 2.0 mobile gaming services.
